Ep. 90 Keystone RV & Dragonfly Energy Partnership

The Partnership

Keystone RV Dragonfly Energy

Live from the RV SuperShow in Tampa, Florida, Sean sits down with Dragonfly Energy and Keystone RV to discuss their new partnership. You will now be able to get Dragonfly Energy lithium batteries in a Keystone RV right from the Keystone factory. You may not be aware of who Dragonfly Energy is. To put it simply, DragonFly Energy is the OEM side of Battle Born Batteries. Typically, if you are a consumer and buy a battery, it is from the Battle Born side. If you are a manufacturer, you are buying from the Dragonfly Energy side of the company.

In this interview, you will hear how this partnership came about and its benefit to the consumer. You will also hear how Dragonfly Energy batteries will work seamlessly with the Keystone InCommand center. This allows a user to turn on your AC from an app on your phone before you arrive so that your RV is nice and cool when you arrive. You will also hear how lithium batteries from Dragonfly Energy batteries are better for the environment compared to lead acid. We also dive into dealer training, dedicated phone numbers for Keystone owners, upgrade options, and when lithium will finally become standard in the RV industry.

Well that’s not really true. They are actually following in the foot steps of Alliance where lithium has been factory installed since they opened in 2019 and their standard solar is 2x 325 watt solar panels with option of solar plus which is 3x 325 panels and two lithium batteries and pretty much the entire rig is 12 volt with the exception of the three ac units, fireplace, microwave and living room fireplace.
But keystone is probably going to improve the system with more sold components and it would be nice if and when they finally upgrade and install the proper wheels axles and springs and that alone was why we traded ours in.

Thanks for the comment. We were not aware that Alliance was doing this. We will have to read more about their offerings. Alliance is a great company. We had them on the show when they were first getting started. We really liked what they are doing to advance the RV industry as well.
