Hey everyone! Today we welcome back Robert Henderson from Henderson’s Lineup. We first interviewed Robert at the 104th FMCA International Convention in Tucson, AZ. He told us about his upcoming book, Living Life One Mile at a Time which is now available on Amazon. On this episode, Robert is back to share the inspiration for the book and what type of information you will find in it. Henderson’s Line-Up

Henderson’s Line-Up is a family-run business that started in 1961. Robert explains what it means to invest in good people to work at the shop and the importance of educating the consumers on how each part or modification will change the performance of their RV. Robert believes treating every RV independently is important because what might work for one may not work for another. This includes RVs on the same chassis and similar size. This is why the Road Performance Assessment that Henderson’s Line-Up developed is so important. It makes the invisible problems visible.

“When comparing two similar RVs, we would ask ourselves why one did so much better than the other. So we had to come up with a way to assess the vehicle’s problems. We developed a systematic process that allows us to put the coach through a series of tasks. Probably close to 20 different things that we test and assess and rate on a scale of one to ten. Then when we get back, we weigh the coach on all four wheels. We look at the frontal rear weight ratios and the side-to-side numbers, and we look at that. We’ve developed parameters and percentages that we know it needs to fall within to get the optimum handling.” – Robert Henderson, Owner of Henderson’s Line-Up.
