SB 139
A new bill has passed in South Dakota, and many RVers are discussing what this could mean for using South Dakota as their domicile. There has been some misunderstanding and misinformation regarding SB 139 and what it means to be a resident of South Dakota.
To help us better understand the new bill, we invited William Linsenmeyer from Your Best Address to the show. William has worked for over 14 years in the mail-forwarding business and owns Your Best Address, a mail-forwarding company located in South Dakota. William will share some facts about SB 139 and how it will affect RVers.
“When I graduated from college, I worked on Capitol Hill for a year, and one of the things I was taught early on is that legislation making is like making sausage; a lot of things go into it. What you will see in the next session in January/February will be a clarification where the bill is spelled out better, so it is not up to interpretation.” William Linsenmeyer, owner of Your Best Address.
