The tooling, the draft angles, and how the tool releases are what make it a lot more complex. It would have been much simpler to build a square box. Still, we wanted to put geometry & shape in every panel of every side of the vehicle, which increases the difficulty, but it really makes something look beautiful!” -Matt Linder, CEO of TruckHouse.

The TruckHouse BCT

The TruckHouse BCT is designed to get you off-grid and stay off-grid with 540 amp hours of Battle Born Batteries, 600 Watt of solar, and a second alternator installed under the hood. So you never need to be plugged in. In addition, significant improvements are made to the Toyota Tacoma chassis, taking it from a quarter-ton truck to a full one-ton truck. Still, keeping its small footprint allows you to park it in a standard parking spot. I think what you will find most surprising about this overlanding vehicle is, as tough as it is, it has a lot of comforts built into it as well. Like heated floors, 12 volt A/C unit, pass-through cab access, and modern marine grade appliances.
