In this episode of Drivers Edition, we talk about Sean’s experience at the Florida RV Supershow, which saw record-breaking numbers as over 80,000 people attended. First, Sean talks about what went on behind the scenes during our live interview with Dragonfly Energy and Keystone RV. Then, we discuss revealing three electric concept RVs from manufacturers- Winnebago, Airstream, and Thor. These three RVs offer some very impressive tech. We think that three major RV manufacturers are creating concepts is a good sign that we will see an all-electric RV hit the market very soon.

Kenny’s Patagonia State Park Trip & RV Full Time vs. Part-Time

Kenny shares what it is like switching from RV full-time to part-time. He recently took a vacation to Patagonia State Park and immediately noticed differences in RVing for a vacation compared to living in one. Kenny also bought a new gadget for his RV, an electric kettle. He shares why he purchased one for the RV and what he likes about it, and thanks to Sean, they discover something that could be improved.

RV Industry News

Catalytic converter theft continues to plague the RV industry. Usually, when you hear of the theft, it is after it is in the consumer’s hand, but just this week in Austin, Texas, an RV dealership had 34 catalytic converters stolen from their RVs. This added up to $100,000 in damages and the delay in sales of these RVs to the consumer.

Lippert this year has record-breaking sales. In addition, Lippert components announced the company did 4.5 billion dollars in revenue for 2021. We believe this is a strong sign that the RV industry will continue to have another strong year in 2022. Lippert is the OEM part supplier for most major RV manufacturers, and the fact that their sales are up and parts are in demand means that things are still booming on the manufacturing side of the RV industry.
