Ashis is the Vice President of Business Development & Advanced Technology and the General Manager of Specialty Vehicles. Ashis has a background in engineering & aerospace technology. He explains why he wanted to work at Winnebago and how he has helped expand mobile solutions for medical purposes. With the Covid-19 pandemic going on, we wanted Ashis to talk about how Winnebago’s mobile medical units could help in the war against the Coronavirus. He explains what their plan is not only for the short term but for the long run as well. History of Specialty Vehicles at Winnebago
Winnebago has built mobile clinics for 40 years. Some examples of their mobile clinics include mobile testing/triage stations, mobile imaging for patient diagnosis, outreach vehicles to work with customers who can’t go to hospitals (older patients, patients with special needs), opioid outreach vehicles, child advocacy centers, or even RVs for medical teams to live in because they can’t return home.
