In this episode, we discuss how the Coronavirus has changed the way we RV. A big part of RVing is being social which is tough when we are all trying to do our part to slow down the spread of the virus by practicing social distancing. We talk about how we are turning down invites to campfires and how Kenny wouldn’t even accept a business card from someone and how it made him feel as if he was being rude to the person.
There is also the slowing down of traveling and exploring, with most tourist sites closed we are not able to go out and explore the way we normally do. We are all doing our best to hunker down and stay put, which actually has been challenging as well with the closing of campgrounds.
We were both lucky enough to find campgrounds that were open and would allow us to stay, but it wasn’t easy. Luckily, this is all temporary and by doing what is necessary today we will be able to get back to enjoying RVing again soon.
RVing certainly does look different these days, but there is a bright side of slowing down our travels and staying put. We have been able to catch up with family and friends, pick up new hobbies, even learn new things like how to day trade in the stock market.
Take care everyone, safe travels and be well.
